I pray tell heard that in at least 3 interviews. It wasn't actually said that way but it was implied that they did not get along. Gregg , as you may or may not know it's a founding member with Neal. Steve came in and made an immediate impact and he did not like the fact that Steve was now the so called, star of the show. Check it out. In the original behind the music with journey, there are implications.

Greg Rollie left Journey because he couldn't stand Steve Perry. Greg thought Steve was trying to take over the band, which I believe he was because it was his voice that got Journey out of the rut the band was in.
