This is the only song of his I like. It's a very nice song. I didn't know of him until I bought tickets to see Gregory Alan Isakov at the Wilshire Ebell in L.A. on Tuesday. Isakov was the undercard. I left after four songs into Ritter's performance. Nothing against him, but he sounded different live. His singing and tune sounded like country music. His guitarist was great. All in all, I did enjoy his live performance, but left because I was exhausted, and was there to see Isakov who ought to be doing larger venues with the likes of Ray Lamontagne.

A simply beautiful song... Kind of takes me to a different place. Like I'm sitting against window staring at the rain... Calms me. And makes me long for him...

Love this song very much, but just for 'the record' it's essentially "Don't think twice it's alright"-Bob Dylan with different lyrics... Still awesome though! :)

I met Josh Ritter last summer. It's a great story. He was doing a live session at my favorite radio station in Portland, OR and afterward I met him and told him that I was covering a couple of his tunes at my show that night. He then thanked me profusely and hugged me saying, "Rock and roll, man!" It was one of the greatest moments of my life. He's one of the nicest and most sincere people I've ever met.
