I heard this song for the first time while sitting in a coffee shop working on one of the biggest projects of my career (also happened to be the morning of the Super Bowl in which my Broncos got their asses completely kicked, but that's neither here nor there).  I had to stop writing and compose myself to keep the tears from rolling down my face.  I've never heard anyone else express better the way that one can simultaneously be captivated and exhilarated by a new love, yet still feel the presence of the old love in the background.  It is wonderful to move on and find love again.  Doesn't mean it's ever easy to move on.

What an amazing songwriter! One of the best. The concert in Toronto was truly awesome, as it always is. Josh knows how to capture the crowd. There was total silence while singing "In The Dark" sung in the dark without the mic. The crowd sang along with him. Josh actually gave my husband the thumbs up as he could hear him sing. Can't wait for the next concert!
