@Greatheil there is no way Hildegard vom Bingen composed this, perhaps a chant that followed this melody line, but there would've been no instrumentation at all. 11th century nuns did not write for orchestras

I'm not going to go out and research it. But if it is indeed related to Hildegard von Bingen, it is definitely an arrangement of a chant that she composed. Hildegard was a composer of the 11th century, and as such only wrote monophonic music, at most there would be a drone underneath the chant.
