i think it's partly a case of, "you don't like in oter people what you don't like in yourself". i have these set picking patterns that aren't complex that act as a base just to support the melody and the lyrics but also i can't stand the same feel in any other musician... That's why i loved The Beatles.. No they tune ever did sounded the same as any other. BUt i will give you that he DOES have a very distinctive sound and i love Heartbeats.. SORRY JOSE!!
