I had the opportunity to talk with Jose Feliciano a couple of years ago, through a live broadcast locally on PBS. He lives in the Lee County area of SW Fort Myers, Florida and was discussing his career. I mentioned this particular post and what an outstanding version it was. He was a real gentleman and extremely complimentary in return. He was and is top drawer in my book.

I used to go see him perform in dive clubs in Newport Beach in the 60s. Always phenomenal. I recently watch a French film with Jose singing California Dreamin'....I was in tears at the beauty and the memory!
