This limp, insipid nonsense serves only to show that Joni is not just a supreme songwriter, she is also an unmatchable performer. Very few performances on here come anywhere near the quality of Joni's own versions. Richard Thompson's "Woodstock" is the honourable exception. Worst by far is Diana Krall's appalling "Case of you".
