I know two Jonis named for this singer with the beautiful voice, yet never heard her until coming here 4 years ago. I was smitten at first listen & taken by how many devoted admirers she has here. I've put my favorites into 800 playlists like the one linked here so i can share them with everyone. I've made lists for 500 artists & Joni's list was one of my earliest. The link below will take you back to 1960 for 5 hours. Thanks for posting this beautifully crafted song. chuck

WOW I remember this song when I was a kid and played this on my Mom and Dad's great big record player/radio combo that was about 3 feet tall and had the greatest sound ever... thanks chesterst10 for the memories!

Thank you chesterst10. This song originally came from Joni and 100 Strings album called I'm In The Mood For Love: Joni Sings Jimmy McHugh's songs. This album is never released in its entirety. Some of the songs from that album appeared on her Carnegie Hall CD and Joni and 100 Strings CD. One of the songs I love most from this album is called "I Walked In With My Eyes Wide Open"....it's so sumptuous and so romantic! Let's hope one day MGM will release this album.

Never heard of this song before now. But I must admit it's a pretty song....and a perfect tune for Joni James' soaring voice! I appreciate you sharing this charming number with us!!! :)
