The opening track on the LP Jonathan Goes Country. A choppy album but worth getting for some great original tunes.

A delightful song. My sister gave me a cassette tape of this quite a while ago. Great album ! This cassette has since been put away in 'the archives' ~ stored away in the closet somewhere. I had to dig deep into my box of tapes, but I found it once again. The reason I searched for it is because my other sister just got back into riding the horses again (after 30+ years) and there's just no stopping her now !! I played this for her, she loved it. I will put it on CD from my cassette for her.

i do beleive you are right because the part on this song at 1:54 almost makes me cry and thats some soulful playing and sing when you make this ole boy tear up,such a delight Mrs.Brumley, thank you for the work of your late husband because me and my dad loved this song and dads was an oldtimer born in `1921 and if he said something or someone was good ,well you betchur ass he was, pardon my language mam but i got to put imphasis on my words spoken of your husband becauze he put his soul in it best

The best track on this record. True, it's a bit uneven but this is one of his best songs.
