That rill on the Hammond in the opening track gives me goosebumps. RIP Jon, you blew us all away with your brilliance and passion and dedication to your music. You will be very sadly missed. But you rock on forever in our hearts mate... and I dare say that even God taps his foot when you make music up there.

Questo ricordo di Jon Lord è bellissimo e commovente è incredibile che siano passati già due anni dalla sua morte, Lui ci manca ma la Sua opera è immortale. Un abbraccio all' amico cileno che ha messo in rete questo filmato

This video brought a lump to my throat. Not simply because I just learned today that he passed 2 years ago already. I grew up on Purple, and found their work with Steve Morse a solid and refreshing "reinvention" of Purple. To say Jon was amazing is a HUGE understatement. Some of my favorite things to listen to are his exchanges with Steve. And of course, Jon's solos were epic on steroids. He's in God's memory now, and his music didn't die with him. Celebrate his life...and the life he put into music.
