Jon Harald Gjesdal is known from a talk show in Norway where he shares his experiences from being depressed and having mental problems. And about how to deal with this! TV and newspapers in Norway have paid a lot of attention to him. Watch NRK1 9th of February 2014, at 18:00. 30 Minutes Program about Jon Harald´s life in a sect.
Jon Harald joined a sect in Germany when he was 22 years old. Many years later he struggled to survive. A lot of traumatic experiences were his daily life. During these years he also had to give away his passion: Playing the piano. In the last years he has "taken back" the piano music. And he has made soulful music out of his traumatic experiences!
The Piano sound from this video is from a nice Steinway Grand Piano in Hov Church in Norway. Thanks to Øystein Wang! And special thanks to Beate Bauer for pushing me to play at the talk show in Porsgrunn, Norway! This was the start of a new beginning in my music life!
Filming, editing, music, photos etc. is self-made on low-budget by Jon Harald. Thanks to everyones advices during the process. At the end of the movie people to thank is mentioned.
Autumn 2014 he is also starting as a Private Therapist at Toten in Norway.
