The parallels I see between The Guest and Drive (having not yet seen the former admittedly) is the similar music. While the textural difference is definitely acoustic vs. electronic, the driving beats and suspenseful ambiance are haunting and impactful.Johnossi rivals The Chromatics and the like in emotional power, while its traditional instruments actually make me want to hunt down more of their music. :)
