Remake of a song which was a 1961 hit for Bobby Edwards earlier in the decade (charting at #11 Hot 100 and #4 Country). Other chart versions include: #87 Hot 100 for Joe South in 1961 (#16 Country), #14 Country for Hank Locklin in 1961 (#107 Bubbling Under), #117 Bubbling Under for Gerry and the Pacemakers in 1965 and #82 Country for Narvel Felts in 1982.
Released as a single in October 1967.
Written by Bobby Edwards, Fred Henley, Mildred Imes & Terry Fell.
