Re: err0rIt's possible for the federal government of these United States to be imperialistic without the people of these United States being imperialists.  If your intention is to condemn the central government as being imperialistic, I think that's something we can get behind, given the past century of wars.  However, if, on the other hand, your intention was to label the civilians of these United States (or, worse yet, all persons residing in North or South America) as "imperialist pigs," I'd have to say you're painting with far too broad a brush.  Amongst American civilians, there is a whole spectrum of opinions on imperialism, from neoconservatives on the one side who strongly favour militaristic intervention, to libertarians on the other who strongly reject militarism, imperialism, and government intervention.
