488 likes to 11 dislikes is a good ratio, but SERIOUSLY? There are 11 people who actively don't like this song? I would presume that they also hate flowers, bunnys and laughing children.

One of the most underrated vocalist ever, should have been as famous as Sam Cooke. Love those boots he's wearing too, so 70's lol

Johnny Nash got through some difficult times growing up with a horrific disease call Lupus. Everytime, this song came on it gave me faith, courage, and strength. It was like he was telling me to hang on tomorrow would bring a brighter day. Today, after 30 + years I have recovered, and it brings tears to my eyes to realize through faith, stamina, determination in beating this disease. I made it! My sincere thanks Mr. Nash, this song is still my rainbow at the end of my long tunnel.

surprised that there are only 50,000 or so views of this classic song from 1972. Johnny sings a great tune here. Maybe ppl are more familiar wtih Jimmy Cliff's version of this song.

I bet Nixon was wondering who that guy was singing, and probably wanted him gone.

Back when this song first came out, and I was sinking into my post-war Vietnam depression, I thought it was sung for me. Thanks Johnny.
