I love Johnny Mathis and I love Neil Sedaka. Probably why I love this song.
"Solitaire" is a popular song written by Neil Sedaka along with Phil Cody and had been originally recorded by Neil Sedaka in 1972. Johnny's version has some slightly different lyrics and I'm not quite sure why but both men do a beautiful job with this song. Neil Sedaka is a brilliant singer/song writer and this is one of my favorite songs written by Mr. Sedaka.
This version is from Johnny's 1975 album, "Feelings."
