Johnny, along with Jimmy Beaumont of the Skyliners and Jimmy Gallagher of the Passions are the greatest voices in rock n' roll. We lost Johnny four years ago as of March 24. R.I.P. Johnny, thanks for the great music that lives on.

MY HUSBAND RONNY METTY worked with JOHNNY in 1956/57 at MALLENCKRODT CHEM WORKS in NYC.He helped start a fan club in ridgewood queens.Through JOHHNY I met THE YOUNGER brother of PATRICIA VAN DROSS LUTHOR who was only 7 yrs at the time.Even at that age he was so talented,LUTHOR became one if the BEST R N B SINGERS OF ALL TIME.RONNY went with THE CRESTS when they recorded their two records in NYC in 1957,I have four demo songs by them especially SWEETEST ONE which is a little longer GOD BLESS

not only Johnny Maestro but also Neil Sedaka who wrote and sang some of rock's great tunes for himself and others...without these 2, it will always be the rock and roll hall of "shame" to me..

I remember going to all the rock n roll shows at the Paramount as a teenager. It was the greatest time. I saw all the doo wop and motown legends.

There will only be one Johnny Maestro. The music really died when we lost him.
