Love the guitar on this song... never knew JC recorded this Steve Earle song. From my understanding, Steve Earle was the protege' of Waylon Jennings who recorded this song as a way to garner attention for Earle. Double edge sword actually... Waylon records your song so that's a feather in your cap... but on the other hand Waylon records your song and shows you how you shoulda done it in the first place and now it's Wayon's song.9 years ago
