I don't think this is the same performance from the album. The vocal is different as is the audience reaction. He performed two shows at Folsom and the two concerts were combined for the album, so this might be the unused version.

Hey Billy B...THE ANIM WAS A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!!! The animators did an outstanding job. I love "the look" of it, and,of course, it went right along with the music\lyrics. Thanks you guys (and gal)...Francois Berelowitch, Bryan Deblasio, Jody Lee and Julie Zammarchi.Perfect!

My dad loved old country. He had both of Johnny's live prison albums (San Quentin and Folsom Prison). I played them both til they couldn't be played anymore. Heck, I've got them memorized so well, I remember the prison announcements & bells in the background. Johnny Cash did A LOT of great music that doesn't get ANY AIR PLAY. Now THAT...is a shame! Explore for yourself the stuff he did. You'll be pleasantly AMAZED.

He always was a rebel who spit, like Charlie Chaplin and Carlin, in the eyes of the oppressors!

I agree, really great. I have just posted another 2 Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison songs with similar animations (Cocaine Blues & The Wall). The animations were/are on a DVD put out by Northern Light Productions in 2008. The DVD is based on a book by Michael Streissguth called; 'Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison, the Making of a Masterpiece.' FYI - The animations are credited to the following 4 people: Francois Berelowitch, Bryan Deblasio, Jody Lee and Julie Zammarchi.
