I remember this video the day his service was and saying to myself no mate he's not dead surely enough I was not correct I think I shutdown after finding out it wasn't until recently that I was watching animal planet at 8 am is time this year that I was reminded of how awesome he was now I have it always recorded so I can watch it all his good work he made me think of one day working for the zoo I can in a few years

Max I heard it from my sister that he died and I said no way(thinking she was joking) but being me I hopped on to the internet to check and boom it was true I think I cried for a long time after nth a and when I watched his memorial service I cried as well but something inside sparked that day that I have might of figured out something years later.

i was on holiday in gran canaria at the time . got up one morning put the news on and it was full of this . steve irwins death . just couldnt take it in. to this day i still cant beleive hes gone.

I remember watching this my junior year in highschool. I was on a family vacation but watched the whole service there in the hotel by the beach. I wept during the service. The influence this man had on so many people from so many backgrounds was unreal. I looked up to him. He was and still is a great hero. I am a wildlife biologist now, largely due in part to Steve Irwin. Thank you for the passion, joy, and awareness that you brought to so many people, Mr. Irwin. RIP
