leigh are you kidding? he has the butter-iest vibrato. he can shred 87 MPH but when he leans into a bend, he strokes it deep and wide. he has the best of all worlds. i'm so bummed phil and sykes never got to really dig into a full album together.

I was never a massive fan of Sykes' work with Thin Lizzy, he seemed to equate playing really fast with playing a good solo, but there was no feeling to it. But when he actually slows it down a bit, like on this song, he's great.

What an amazing song.I have cried many times with this tune.I am from Greece and i saw a John Sykes/Thin Lizzy concert in 2007 in Athens.Eventhough he didn t play that song i felt thrilled.But still Phil is one and only.
