On March 26 my dear friend John Renbourn passed away. We toured the world together for 15 years. This informal clip was shot a few years back before we were to perform in London.

R.I.P. John.

It is so sad to se this clip, NOW.Two of our time greatest guitar players are down in --- 6 feet under.I just can't handle that. I always wanted to join the gang with John in Spain or Crete. But I never had that amount of money :\I still love this man.

Did you see the joy in Johns eyes as he stumbled onto a cool sounding lick? Even after all those years he still had the passion.

descanse en paz uno de los guitarristas más querido por los guitarristas acústicos. Parte de mi amor por la guitarra se lo debo a él (a ti también Stefan). Gracias por subir este documento precioso.

As a guitar teacher I often play John tunes with my student, so they discover his fabulous talent. The best tribute will be to hear young people playing his music.

Stefan, so sorry to hear about this. My friends and I have spent dozens of hours listening to you two play together and I'm feeling so thankful to have seen John perform in Seattle when on tour with Pierre Bensusan. We were nowhere close to ready for John to not be not be with us. Thank you for all the music you two made together.
