'Breakfast in Bed' was co-written by Donnie Fritts for Dusty Springfield and also covered by Shirley Bassey. John Paul White and Donnie Fritts have collaborated on Fritts' forthcoming LP 'Oh My Goodness'.

Wish I had been there to see this live. Having never seen John Paul White in person, I really don't know what his live performances have been like. But I have seen his various videos from the pre-Civil War Band period; the many CWB videos and the more recent work since the bands demise. This powerful performance of 'Breakfast in Bed' seems like a step-up in his stage presence and delivery. It feels like an extension of his CWB voice in 'From this Valley'; 'Billie Jean'.
