Vote with gun's and ammunition:Thomas Jefferson, Third US President and Author of The US Constitution, stated these words:"The strongest reason for the people to retain their right to keep and bear arms is as a last resort to protect themselves against tyranny in government".If as a US Citizen you fail to see that this is precisely that time, right now, that We The People have found ourselves in; you are either incredibly naive, or outright stupid.Arm yourselves now. Buy all the ammunition you can carry. Its time to take our country back from the sleazy, corrupt, lawyer/politician filth, that has commandeered our political, justice, and financial systems, and sold out We The People on all fronts.BUY GUNS AND AMMUNITION NOW.

I love this song. That being said... The Government is nothing but Bastards who give away this Country. Reagan screwed these Farmers, many committed Suicide. I'm glad John Cougar wrote this song so that people remember what the Government does and can never forget. Let's use our precious land to grow Corn for "fuel" instead of Corn for" food", great idea!!. screw the American people, they can starve.

I just hope you know how much the music means to some of us out here still. A lot of us still remember what you did, along with what Willie and Neil created. But forgetting all of that, it is still a greater song than probably anything that has been made for a long time. I wish we could still make real social change, but more than sadly that time has passed. And yes I know that you never really made your political beliefs clear which is good and right and I hope that you don't, because it mostly doesn't matter and is pointless.

DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ARE CAPITALISTS. AND CAPITALISM ONLY BENEFITS THE RICH. What a good manifesto against the capitalist system. Capitalism only benefits the rich corporations like Wal Mart, and corporate capitalist farmers. Only communism can save the poor peasants and poor farmers from the capitalist hell that is making the rich richer and the poor poorer. AMERICANS HAVE 2 OPTIONS: SOCIALISM OR DEATH !!
