When do people stop judging him based on some things he did back in 2009/2010?! 5 years have passed and some still don't see how much he changed. And yes, he made some very stupid decisions back then, I agree. But that shouldn't be an excuse for still calling him a douchebag or something. You should't judge him on these interviews and stuff. He grew up and regrets it. If you payed a little more interest in him you could have known this. Just respect him. He's a good man with a good heart.

As much as I'd like to, I can't fault his guitar playing. Sadly, he's just not cool. There's no mystery there. Sounds shallow but it's not--the great artists seem to have personalities that tend to guarantee their art. No one on earth was as cool as Morrison and Hendrix--or better artists. Unfortunately, Mayer by nature is a loud, in-your-face extrovert who went to rock star school and exited with solely the chops
