I think this was an awesome show! Mayer really wasn't off as much on this night as people have been saying. Mayer said in a concert a couple of years ago (can't remember the video), that when he was younger he was just swinging for the fences and wasn't even seeing if they were home runs but just kept swinging for homeruns. He said something along those lines and now he's been around a bit longer and he's not the kid he once was. Mayer truly is evolving as a musicians and guitar player surely!

@guitarplayer1994 I could not agree more!!! He is technically better now, but that is all. I think the issue is that the hunger is gone. In 2002, he was still proving himself and was out to show everybody. He isn't hungry anymore!!! The version of this on Any given thursday is incredible!! And he hit flat notes then, so thats not it. But he was exciting to watch back then. I believe this idea has effected his songwriting also. He is still one of the best, but his spirit is different now.
