I just cannot get the same sound as this song,I tried learning it by ear, and reading up on the only tab available for this song, and I just can't get it right. I know it's HIS song,but still! It's a great song and I want to play the way he does.

I really dig this period of his music. The guitar work is complex and has a jazzy feel to it. Also he sounds confident and hopeful. His bluesy phase is great too (like that on Continuum). I wish he'd do another album in these styles. Cool picture by the way - the New Yorker building in the background captures some of NYC's art deco goodness.

In less musical jargon- by removing this from his catalog, it makes/made 'No Such Thing' stand out more by not using elements present in other songs in the catalog.
