Johnny Too Bad is just on of JM's exceptional works. In terms of where and how he can be placed, related or compared - well, he was in a league of his own.

you can watch john's documentary on google video. As for his music; sheer brilliance especially the transatlantic stuff.

Why "unfortunately"? When the hell is appreciation a bad thing?

Unfortunately there will now be an outbreak of appreciation for one of the greatest musical talents these shores has ever produced.Where were you when he was amongst us?

its a bit sad to see john today.. he is and was a brilliant songwriter but his voice is gone. he had such a beautiful voice and he pissed it away. its unfortunate.

You work in studio ? Whats that supposed to mean? What are you?...the teaboy?..or the kinda bloke that studios usually have that's always ready to tell the bands in there how they've "hung out with em all man!yeah man!I'm really something cos I work in a studio and you don't! So I must know more than you!" Look..... I made my comment about him cos to my ears it sounds shit, that was months ago and hey ! Surprise! He still sounds like shit today. You have your opinion and I have mine..end of.

bob you fucking prick, I work in a recording studio and I still remember that music is about self expression and communication, nothing else. His guitar sound and style may not be to your taste, but you should respect him for being himself, he is instantly recognisable, and look at his face - you have to have serious soul and mean it to gurn like that. Plus he has a go at some feedback which doesn't really happen, but goes to show he's pushing it and taking risks. don't snipe at the guy.
