This is wonderful, John. At first, it evoked the Doors 'Whiskey Bar' with which many of today's youth would be unfamiliar, but it has a haunting yet circusy feel that is quite unJim Morrisonlike and by the end of the song one is left with what feels like a mariner's tale, melancholy and beautiful and timeless.
