John Linnell - Montana video free download

I remember watching this when it aired and thinking that Linnell sounded horrible. Watching it now, I've completely changed my mind. He sounds fine. Sometimes, one of the guitarists isn't playing quite on key, though. That could have been what was creating the cacophony in my mind. That, and Linnell's singing looser than he would in a studio, but that's part of live performance, and it's still well within key.So happy to have my bad memory of this performance rectified. :-D

I don't have a copy of "State Songs" however of the two I've heard: This one and Pennsylvania, I prefer Pennsylvania. I's composed more intelligently, I feel. One thing about this song is that Linnell hits a high F#. Impressive. That's the end of his range, I am thinking.
