45 years ago and as a 5 year old kid I loved (together with some Beatles) this song. I wasn't allowed to use the the stereo, sorry, mono :). My poor father ran all the time to restart the song. I am not a Lennon fan. Well I'm a sort of fan because I admire him as a musician. Then it's this song. It have followed me for 45 years. Maybe not as much as I should but once or twice a month."what in the world are you thinking of. Laughing in the face of love.".How many here can raise a hand and say that you truly loved ? Dared not to laugh.8 December 1980 was a day of sorrow. John lost his life and the world may have lost 40 more years of genius. But in the way John was, I think he has forgiven Mark Chapman.
