Led Zeppelin followed in the British Invasion, stealing old blues songs. Our country was segregated, even up north. White kids would go to hell for listening to this then. If you dress up some white Brits and let them cover it, that was cool. Prodigal Son is a Stones tune, they did em all, Chuck Berry, Wilson Pickett, It's a travesty these men that put there life into it never got the credit for it. Look up "Led Zeppelin plagiarism" Willie Dixon had 5 songs put Page/Plant wrote, hate em now!

I totally agree. Music today is soulless and you described its contents very well.

music needs to hurry and bounce back and get back to where it came from. All the music now is talkin bout the same few things. Music now always talks about partying, fucking, drugs, and theres no soul in any of it. All that music is any more is just edited shit that no one can really sing. Music today is a fucking JOKE!

JLH had "heritage" flowing through him - his songs are derived from stuff he heard in his youth and what come from within him, what he's playing is what he's feeling deep down ...that's what makes great music

I just got my heart broken a second time by the same girl... Nothing like a little blues to help you feel just a little better now...
