I saw this song performed live at The Old Waldorf in San Francisco. The venue is long gone but I remember this song as well as Five Finger Discount.

For ears thirsting for new Steppenwolf music this album was a pleasure in '82. It was one of the first digital recordings, and it doesn't have the crunch that this band delivers live. First album without Jerry as well and his musical input as well as his imaginative drumming is noticeably absent. That aside, overall it's a nice listen and this track in particular proved that John Kay still had some great songs left in him.

@dblstack1 .. I've always felt this was the better of MrKay's latter day units.. Saw these guys when they came through in '82 and '84.. Opened with a strong version of "Time" each show.. Impressive players they were. Tight, professional and on fire! The last show I was able to attend was during their "Rock & Roll Rebels" tour.. Never got to attend a "Wolf Fest" .. Wish I had, but life is peppered with regrets, eh?!

Good album just a little weak on the recording. Always liked Time..saw it live once and Replace The Face As the opener at a Wolf Fest.
