I just watched the movie ''weekend''. The words really have a meaning after watching it. The ending with this song at the end in the credits.. OMG tear jerker.

This song is very sad but beautiful. It reminds me of someone who is about to pass away into a different form of existence and he's just singing of a place he wants to go after he leaves this earth. Sad but beautiful and sweet. Good job John Grant!

His two solo albums are fantastic. Off key? This is amazing. You try write and perform something like this...

Like the song and John Grant but he seems off key in this performance. Maybe nerves?

This performance on Later turned me on to Queen of Denmark, which proved to be one of my two favourite albums of that year. The other was Owen Pallett.

I heard this song at the end of the movie Weekend and I have never been happier about actually taking the time to sit through credits. Realizing John Grant existed was more than worth it.
