Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Hey way to play that "Reckonbaker" John Fogerty. I wonder if it's name is Susie Q, or is that the name of the ampliflier??Poor ole Lucille done lost her B.B. earlier this week, and man what a year for the "celebrity angel of death." We lost two Hall of Fame coaches at UNC, and we also lost Donna Douglas, too.But ole Max Baer (Jethro Bodine) is a-still gettin' it.Who'da thunk Jethro woulda lived longer than Ellie Mae, Granny??Oh well, live long and prosper John Fogerty AND too bad about those record company deals...
