I'm pretty sure it's Alice Cooper doing the vocals on this. Off So Who's the Bass Player. A track originally from the bizarre space musical Flash Fearless Versus the Zorg Women.

Really does it matter whose project it was. The idea of merging theater and rock was AC, Vincent Furnier's. At the time JE was trying to rediscover the impact he had on rock while AC was morphing into the godfather of metal/horror rock. Entwhistle's contribution to rock in the 60's and 70's is everlasting, powerful and cannot be understated. At the time of this record, however, musicians within the industry, as well as media everywhere, could not get enough of Alice Cooper.

I think you can still get the CD at Amazon, I had the original on Vinyl the week it came out! But I got the CD a few years back on Amazon.

Then you must know it was Entwistles project. Alice was technically working for John. Hired on as a front man, but of course everyone knows the front man MUST be the one in charge, like Diamond Dave IS Van Halen. right.

Really it is John Entwhistle backing Alice cooper and Jim Dandy from Black Oak Arkansas and James Dewar who was the bass playerand vocalist with Robin Trower when he began and hit it big with Bridge of Sighs. Okay I admit it, bought the album in the seventies when it came out. Thanks for posting.

John once said during the sessions for this album, he alone drank eight dozen bottles of wine. I can't imagine what Alice and Moonie went through.

It's one of my favourites. It doesn't get much better than two legends just doing what they do.

I don't have a clue if the full album was ever released but I'm FLash and Space Pirates are on So Who's the Bass Player.

Cooper and Entwistle on the same track, just tearing it up. How perfect is this freakin' song man?!

John could break out the 8-string bass like on "Trick of the Light"
