I'm surprised no one posting here really understood the meaning of this video... the man running around in a suit is supposed to signify someone who is 'chained'.. to a desk.. to the phone.. to his bills.. responsibilities, whatever... and he breaks free of it all and runs to the mountains to seek out the way of the eagle and hawk... I think the video was pretty cool, if you understand it.....

Hey Brian great to hear you like John at your age ( so young you make me want to cry, lol. as I am 3 times your age plus a year at the time of your comment )BTW never get caught up in the idea that says men aren't supposed to cry that's a load of dip, because as you get older the emotions that something like a song can bring on by, bringing back memories of loved ones that are gone, and what not or whatever, can just be brought out by the words in a song, and Johns songs can certainly do that.

That "dork" was the co-producer...LOL. If he's not in it, it might not exist. He's got over 640,000 views and most like his frollicking. Different strokes for different folks it would seem. I personally enjoyed it.

When the radio announced that he had died I pulled my car over and cried. What a gift to us and what a loss. I still feel it yet I am transported each time I hear his timeless music! Though I never did drugs this song made me feel 'out of body' and it still does. He died doing what he loved and his life had been a strugle. I pray he is now at peace.
