Great video..I was still a kid when he came to Chile my country.Wish I had been a bit older so I could have had apreciated his music more at the time. He was a great artist and composer. Thats the great James Burton on the lead guitar(lead guitar player with Elvis on the 70s)....cant believe he came and played in Chile!! Lord Scythe was right of what he sayd from the Monster..they can trully make life miserable on stage if they dont like your act (ive seen them ruin many Chilean artists career).

recuerdo ke mi tio siempre contaba que este cantante le recordaba la muerte puesto que el ese año 1985 estaba detenido en un centro de tortura..decia que esa noche su torturador y compañia les gustaba este cantante ai que lo vieron entero el show el lo escuchaba atravez de la pared esa noche se salvo de las torturas...pero en la mañana lo despetaron temprano...asi con Jonh Denver..

Jason, John so loved the people of China. Unfortunately, the 80's weren't the best time for him musically. Hope you have been able to hear some of his music from the times when he was just starting out.

I do still remember when John Denver went to Chile; he was very well received and he loved being in Vina del Mar. He had great songs and made the **Monster** sing and enjoy during the entire show. I miss him too, too bad he had to pass away in such a dramatic accident. (** MONSTER ** = The public of Vina del Mar are known for being very hard to please, you either are liked by the Monster or disliked. They will make your life miserable on-stage while you still sing, if they don't like you).
