When you have touched a feeling better than anyone has ever done before, you have created something that will last beyond your self. This song has stayed with me since I first heard it almost forty years ago. To see it posted here only makes the images in my own mind easier to share with others. Thank you.

John, my wife has held this song in her heart since she discovered it when she was in high school (don't ask her how long ago that was) LOL. In her name, thanks so much for the song that she wore out as a 45...

This song has been very special to me since my dear friend played the record for me in the 70's. Long story short: my eyesight is inherently not the best, but my friend so sweetly affirmed that I see in other ways, when he shared this song with me when I was just a teen. It meant a lot to me/helped me affirm who I am w/ love. I do lean towards pondering intangible concepts, and having a great ear for music while "seeing" in other ways. Lovely to hear this cherished & beautiful song again! TY!

Heard this first in 1970'S and it's always stuck in my mind. Thank you so much for posting it. Is there anywhere to get a clean copy? Tried Amazon, Spotify, etc. ? But I would still listen to snaps and crackles of vinyl, than not to have heard it. Never knew you had an album, now I'll have to look your discography up...................

I had the privilege of working at a school for the blind. Your song and words capture the philosophy of all those students. To this day, their philosophy and your words still keeps me humble and thankful. Thank you John!

Beautiful song John. Susan Martin sent me here to listen to your music. What a gift to give to all of us. Songwriting is one of those events in life that gives meaning to all of us.

I was diagnosed with MS in 1984 after an attack of optic neuritis and a temporary loss of vision. I was so afraid that it would happen again, and my eyesight would be lost This song was played on the radio and I immediately went out and bought this album. I played it over and over, and was comforted by it tremedously! Thank you for this song! I am doing wonderfully and never lost my sight, neither physically nor mentally! I owe you so much that could never express! You were a blessing.

Mr JDR, Minneapolis 1978. Heard this song once on the radio and it has been with me ever since. I tracked down the record album several years ago and the song was with me again. Now, a life long friend of mine is very ill and this once again inspires me. Thank you.
