Cool. Penelope Houston does a very pretty version of this song as the closing track of her album "The Pale Green Girl."

I do too. But then again, a lot of songs that begin with just piano sound like Let it be ;-) Listen also to Cale's The Man Who Couldnt Afford To Orgy , that song sounds a lot like Lennon's solo work. At least, that's what I think.

Thanks for posting this. John Cale's albums from the '70s (The Academy in Peril, Paris 1919, Fear, Slow Dazzle, Helen Of Troy, Animal Language, Sabotage, etc...) are among my all-time-favourites... Don't know where you go this piece of film from, but thanks for posting it...

Fear is the best album Cale ever did. I'm very glad to be able to see a performance from this era at last. This just about looks like it's a rehearsal tape. If you want to see a more recent video with Chris Spedding (2001), search for the Roxy Music video of "My Only Love"--great solo.

When I sleep in the mid day sun I dream of hevenly wine and roses while the Velvets serenade my girlfriend and I. Oh what a Perfect Day.
