hes not condoning drug taking, probably in reality the opposite.hes talking about living a natural and realistic life, not hiding and pretending, and taking drugs is a way of getting away from this reality.

yeah, but he's pointing out something else isn't he...he's saying we're all addicted to something, lsd and ecstacy, Media and Junk food. He's saying it's all the same, so in a way, it's not really about drugs in that sense.
