Not only a great songwriter, but one of the most incredible voices I've ever heard. Couldn't get enough of his music since the first I heard it, and especially after a heartbreak. Crying shame great talents like John Berry just aren't mainstream and lousy enough to be popular. Good country music is a bygone era at this point.

It amazes me that singers that have pure GOD given voices like this and the CMA cannot recognize them. Whats the deal.....he is amazing.

A powerful voice, powerful music, powerful lyrics. This guys voice can stand alone. The only thing I think that would sound great with his awesome soulful voice would be with an orchestra, backed up by two soulful black Baptist choirs. BTW..he still has that voice. Just heard his 2012 release. What a gift he is.
