I hate how everyone fights about what is punk what isn't punk. punk is a message not a look or a sound, jazz dudes were the rebels then it went main stream, rock n roll was rebellious then it became main stream, punk was rebellious then it became main stream, metal was rebellious then main stream, grunge etc etc. the meaning is what you make of it and anybody with a fuck you attitude that isn't in it for easy money and a message about helping your fellow man is a punk to me and a fucking awesome person. music is culture and a response to culture. wearing a Mohawk and a safety pin doesn't make you a punk just like wearing baggy jeans and black doesn't make you metal get over the superficial shit

As much as I find the interviewer annoying, Joey is cool and this makes the interview cool. He also reminds me of Kermit, the frog
