To each his own man, but you're really missing something if you think Cole can't compare with Joell. If you've really been following Cole, you would have listened to the Warm Up and FNL, which are two amazing mixtapes. Joell Ortiz's The Brick was dope, Covering the Classics was dope too. I think they are very comparable, especially if you consider that they have similar flaws (corny and boring at times).

cole doesnt get deeper than a paddling pool tho there are so many deeper artists out there that makes it seem like cole IS big for no reason, there are like 1000 cats out there that already sounded like him before he got big.. think the labels just saw him as a good investment. hes just the dude that comes off deep cause the other mainstream bs is that superficial and that attracts a lot of fans that don't really know better than mainstream hiphop
