A bona fide rock classic, Joe Walsh wrote "Rocky Mountain Way" in 1973 with his then band Barnstorm, with writing credits given to Walsh, Rocke Grace, Kenny Passarelli, and Joe Vitale.
The song was originally released on the album "The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get". It is regularly played live by Walsh with The Eagles - most recently on their 2010 world tour.
