Joe's kinda turning into "angry old coot"..."Hey u kids, get offa my lawn!" guy...lol...but i love him, and always will. One of the first 5 records i ever bought was Summer, 1973 "The Smoker you Drink...." LP...must've listened to "Meadows" 10,000 times in a row in one nite.....good times. 40 years ago this summer!!! OMG!!!

I have seen Joe 3 times (1997, 2012, 2013). He is always great. In 1997 he was the headliner with Night Ranger and Eddie Money opening for just $5. It was amazing and he played for about two hours. He hasn't lost a step at all. He is one of the most modest musicians I have ever been a fan of. He said that he spent decades drunk and high during live shows because he was so afraid of people and whether or not they would like his music. Very personable and humble.

I just saw Joe with Bob Seger at the Palace of Auburn Hills and I wish he would've played at least as long as Bob did. Joe was amazing as usual.

I'm going to the show tomorrow night (Saturday) at the Palace of Auburn Hills, MI. I can't wait!!! Excited to see Seger for the first time... but to be honest, I'm mainly going to see Joe!!! :-) Joe, you are one of my all-time favorite musicians - you're a major influence on me!
