You can't say that....this is Joe Vitalie's style/interpretation....not to mention, he was co-writer. All instrumentalists are just different. In this case, Vitalie's style fits in with Walsh, just as Bonham was more suited to Zepplen.

I don't think I've heard another drummer hang with this one.........

Not even trying to be funny here: When I saw the cover of Nirvana's Nevermind in the stores way back in 1992 it reminded me of this cover. Both in the water. And I picked up the album based on that. Because even in '92 you could still tell if a group or album would be any good based on the album cover. Obviously now...

Joe Walsh: my kind of enlightened maniac! Way ahead of what came after him. Mindset is everything.

He's such an encredible player, and has what a lot of us lack-a sense of humor. Tough dude.

LOVE the Kettle drum at the end of the song...this song reminds me of a WHO tune or maybe John Entwhistle solo-I think it was he same producer for one of his records...

Thanks again for the complement. I put the speech balloon in there because every real Joe Walsh fan would "get it." As for him joining The Eagles, like you said, at the time, it made sense. While I certainly don't think that Joe would have fit into the line-up prior to "Hotel CA", I thought he brought a lot to the table on that album. The songs he wrote were among the best on the album, and his guitar style definitely left its mark. Joe is a really unique figure in American rock music.

no but i mean that was a great speech balloon you put in "how ya' doin'?" because if they had had the technology back then they probably would have put that in. so really, i guess you a bit of a visionary. plus if you like joe walsh, you might be wondering why the h**l he ever joined the eagles, but i guess money speaks louder than good music, eh mate?

Thanks, glad you like it! The "video" wasn't that hard to do. I did the simple option because I really wanted a way to put the song on mine and others' websites, and it's a lot easier to embed a video than an mp3. Cheers
