So because a few verses sound similar between this and Coldplay's Viva la Vida (even though the instruments used are COMPLETELY different as well as the ENTIRE rest of each song) people are getting butthurt.

It was all entirely coincidental. In the words of Coldplays drummer, Will Champion, "For some reason, God only knows why, the successful songs seem to be the ones that are accused of being stolen." It's all PURELY by coincidence. But oh well. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
