A little less name calling OK pal. I happen to be a big supporter of Obama, and agree with you about Reagan and Bush/Cheney. But I still don't think Joe Jackson thinks of the US as the evil empire even with jerks like Bush around. Maybe I'm wrong, only JJ himself can know for sure.

This is the only time Jackson has said anything about it, and it was only in the context of "Rant and Rave." ``Rant and Rave is about being an angry young man wanting to change the world,`` he [Joe Jackson] said. ``The song is rather naive. It could be about student rioting in 1968 or punks in 1976. Later in the album you have Evil Empire, a cynical look at the same thing.``
