Honestly times have changed in all genres. Some new country is bad and some good. Rap used to be only hip hop. Now there's 100 different versions of it. Metal used to be just metal since the 80's It has branched to hundreds of different versions. So you can now call aldean a progressive country singer.

What's wrong with being tattooed, peirced, and urban? The first time I heard 1994 I was definitely caught off-gaurd. Ultimately, I am very glad for it, especially because another generation of listeners will learn about Joe Diffie and, hopefully, check out his music, like Courtney C. did :-)
